"The landscape is born when we format the earth, shape its relief or assign collective and individual meanings to it. The landscape is the result of the relationship between the land, the territory, the place and those who occupy it. Walking through the landscape – traveling – it has always been, for me, a moment of pause. A hiatus in the routine until you meet another. Long hours of silence watching the change of scenario according to the path. From this experience, my landscapes were harvested as my gaze rested on the horizon seeking for the forms that were born from within the whitish smokes of the fog. Pause, contemplation, this is what was intended to be evoked through the works presented here. A series of clippings of my imaginary landscapes. Distant places, of which only the cut-out silhouettes are seen, sometimes precise, sometimes disappearing through a cloudy veil."
